Ghana
A study on Inclusive Business (IB) and Inclusive Green Business (IGB) in Ghana is underway and will be published by the end of 2024. It aims to clarify the IB/IGB concept, profile business lines using these models, assess the supportive environment, develop recommendations for a promotion program, and institutionalize features like business coaching and accreditation.
A study on Inclusive Business (IB) and Inclusive Green Business (IGB) in Ghana is underway and is set to be published by the end of 2024. The study has several goals:
- Clarify the concepts of IB/IGB in the Ghanaian context.
- Profile business lines in Ghana using IB/IGB models, initiatives, and activities.
- Evaluate the supportive environment for IB/IGB in the country.
- Develop recommendations for a promotional program for IB/IGB.
- Establish features such as business coaching, accreditation, and an action plan to support the agenda between 2025-2030.
The study also emphasizes connecting with the green business agenda in Ghana and has laid out criteria and benchmarks for accrediting IB and IGB. Partners are welcome to engage in discussions on the content of an IB/IGB business coaching program. GIZ is supporting the study, and for more information, contact Mr. Babhama at CDC Consult ([email protected]) or Christian Jahn at GIZ-Ghana ([email protected]).
