In 2022, an Inclusive Business (IB) study was conducted in Zambia, clarifying the IB concept, profiling 23 business lines, assessing the enabling environment, and developing recommendations for a comprehensive IB promotion program.

The study, funded by GIZ, involved collaboration with the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and planned a follow-up project with the Investment Climate Facility. The focus was establishing an IB risk-reducing fund and a social innovation fund in cooperation with the Impact Investing Network.

In 2022, an Inclusive Business (IB) landscape study was conducted for Zambia, covering key aspects: (a) clarifying the IB concept in the Zambian context, (b) profiling 23 noteworthy IB business lines, (c) assessing the enabling environment, (d) developing recommendations for a comprehensive IB promotion program, and (e) seeking support through an action plan.

A planned follow-up project, financed by the Investment Climate Facility, aimed at close collaboration with the Impact Investing Network in Zambia and the government to establish an IB risk-reducing fund and social innovation fund. The study, funded by GIZ through the IBAN program, was implemented in cooperation with the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA).
